Job summary

Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace is seeking a Deli Associate for the St Clair Shores location. You will slice, weigh, package, and label deli meats and cheeses per customer requests while assisting shoppers with product questions and samples.

You will greet customers, provide courteous service, operate slicers safely, and keep deli displays neat and well-stocked. Flexibility for early mornings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to work early mornings, nights and weekends.
• Experience using deli slicers or similar equipment is a plus.
• Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Slice, weigh, package, and label deli meats and cheeses per customer request.
• Assist customers with orders and questions about products in the deli.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Operate slicers and authorized equipment safely.
• Stock and display all deli products and maintain displays.
• Maintain neat personal appearance and follow grooming standards.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and labeling policies.
• Support other departments as needed.
