Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking team members for its deli, store and produce departments. You will enter orders, schedule work and supervise teammates, while receiving, storing and stocking items, checking dates, and updating pricing as needed.

You’ll also help customers and maintain daily sanitation and safety standards in a fast-paced environment. We value teamwork, reliability and a commitment to food safety.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must complete a food safety certification every 5 years, and teach new team members importance.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must meet the company performance standards, including regular attendance.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stock department sales floor cases.
• Assist customers and handle deli, meat, and cheese tasks per SOP.
• Maintain sanitation and cleaning of surfaces and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Record daily temperature charts and sanitation logs.
• Plan weekly circular ad.
