The GIANT Company is seeking a deli team member to handle and knowledgeably manage deli products across our stores. You will receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, and stock deli items while maintaining clean, attractive displays and attentive customer service.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. is required.
• Clear ability to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position.
• Ability to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used in this job.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service as a core part of every GIANT/MARTIN'S store position.
• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, and package products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking and rotating products.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions, including coding, rotating and cleaning items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain proper prep area conditions, including cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, utensils and equipment.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the deli area.
• Maintain safe and clean sales floor conditions, including sweeping and mopping.
• Provide friendly and courteous customer service, answer questions and promote products.
• Dress according to company policy and maintain a neat appearance.
• Complete ELM training courses as they are added to the learning page.
