Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a hands-on Store Manager to oversee deli, carryout, cafe, and cheese operations at our Thorndale location. You will schedule work, supervise team members, receive and stock items, and ensure product quality and proper pricing.

You will train staff and uphold food safety standards and SOPs. The ideal candidate will be authorized to work in the U.S., have strong leadership and communication skills, and be committed to safe, efficient store operations in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Must complete a food safety certification every 5 years, and teach new team members importance.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must meet company performance standards, including regular attendance.
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at shift start and prepare for duties.
• Perform markdowns and track loss.
• Run deli, carryout, cafe, and cheese tasks and equipment.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, equipment, and displays.
• Prepare sandwiches, pizzas, and other deli items per SOP and package accordingly.
• Assist customers, weigh and label deli items, and stock grab-and-go cases.
• Roast, portion, and label chicken and other meats per SOP.
• Follow all safety, PPE, and sanitation protocols and document SOP adherence.
• Organize and maintain stock rooms, coolers, and display cases.
• Plan weekly circular ad and maintain inventory accuracy.
