Job summary

Tasc Inc. is seeking a full-time Deflection Specialist to connect with clients and provide crucial outreach and training related to substance abuse disorders. The ideal candidate will have at least a high school diploma and knowledge of human behavior in the context of substance abuse. Key responsibilities include assisting individuals in achieving their service goals and developing relationships with community partners. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for some remote work after 60 days of employment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of outreach work related to direct client services.
• Knowledge of treatment & service providers in the service area.
• CRSS, CPRS or CADC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Connect clients with community resources and education.
• Provide outreach services for individuals with substance use disorder.
• Develop relationships with community partners and agencies.

Skills

Knowledge of human behavior for assessing substance abuse disorders

Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Highly organized with multitasking abilities

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent
