Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Lead Deficiency Tracking/Supervisor Analyst to support Health Information operations on an onsite M-F day shift in New Jersey. You will coordinate the daily tasks within HI, ensure timely goals, and mentor team members.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, at least one year in medical records, strong communication and computer skills, and experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience in medical records.
• Effective communication and problem solving skills.
• Proficient in computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the daily tasks of their respective areas within HI.
• Organizes and follows through with the implementation of the department's workflow and processes.
• Ensures that the daily goals and metrics are met by accomplishing related duties as required.
• Leads team members and may serve as a source of information for team members on established processes.
• Notifies the supervisor of any situation requiring escalation.
• Provides for smooth day-to-day flow of communications within the team.
• Serves as a liaison with other areas in and out of HI and keeps the supervisor informed of relevant information.
• May assist in peer interviewing, training, scheduling and distributing work to other team members.
• Assists the supervisor with bi-weekly payroll activities including troubleshooting any issues in the event there are discrepancies in a team member's paycheck.
• Maintains and monitors schedules and time punches on a daily basis.
• Reports any HI issues/problems to supervisors and/or managers.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
• Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
