Job summary

Fortis Fire & Safety Inc. is seeking a Deficiency Account Executive for our Boynton Beach, FL team.

The role focuses on identifying, quoting, and securing corrective work from fire alarm inspections and deficiencies, while helping customers stay compliant with life safety codes. Ideal candidates have field experience in fire alarm/life safety, strong customer service, and the ability to drive revenue growth across South Florida.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of technical fire alarm knowledge.
• Experience selling deficiency repairs, inspections, service agreements, maintenance programs, or related solutions is preferred.
• Strong familiarity with fire alarm systems, NFPA 72 requirements, and life safety codes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review deficiencies identified for repair and code compliance opportunities.
• Develop and present proposals for corrective work, repairs, upgrades, and code modifications.
• Follow up on quotes and manage opportunities through the sales cycle to secure approvals.
• Maintain records of customer interactions and opportunities in the CRM system.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and revenue targets.
