Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a Digital Content and Social Media Manager in Washington, DC to own the company’s website content and organic social presence. You will translate product launches, press coverage, events, and milestones into credible, government-facing content across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram, and more.

You’ll partner with Marketing, Design, and Communications to keep output timely and on-brand, while building a community of practice and measuring site performance to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mass communication, marketing, journalism, public relations, communications, or English.
• 3-6 years of digital content and/or social media management experience, ideally including B2B, government-facing, defense, or other regulated-industry brands.
• Strong track record of growing and engaging an audience on LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram.
• Excellent writing skills for a technical/executive/government audience.
• Experience turning press coverage and events into organic social content.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and working largely on your own early on.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow CHAOS's website content and organic social presence for government, defense, and industry audiences.
• Develop and execute a content strategy, messaging framework, and site architecture.
• Lead social media across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram with platform-native posts.
