Job summary

CHAOS Industries, a pioneering defense-focused company, seeks a Digital Content and Social Media Manager to own and grow our website and organic social presence across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram, and more.

You will translate product launches, press releases, and milestones into credible content for government, defense, and industry audiences, partnering with Marketing, Design, and Communications to maintain timely, on-brand output.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mass communication, marketing, journalism, public relations, communications, or English.
3-6 years of digital content and/or social media management experience, ideally including B2B, government-facing, defense, or other regulated-industry brands.
Proven track record of growing and engaging an audience on LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram specifically.
Excellent writing skills and ability to tailor content to a technical/executive/government audience.
Experience turning press coverage, executive commentary, and event content into organic social content.

Responsibilities

Own the social media strategy and calendar across all platforms.
Create and adapt content for social — repurposing press coverage, executive commentary, product content, and event moments.
Manage day-to-day publishing, community engagement, and monitoring across CHAOS's social channels.
Coordinate social coverage at major events, trade shows, and product launches.
Track and report on social performance and refine strategy over time.
Ensure social content clears government-sensitivity and export control requirements before publishing.
