Job summary

Thales seeks a Digital Communication Manager in Arlington, VA. You will lead North America internal and external digital communications across websites, intranet, and social channels, crafting branded content for the website, leadership talks, press releases, and social campaigns.

You will oversee a broad digital program, manage events, evangelize employee advocacy, and ensure consistent brand messaging across platforms, with a focus on analytics and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience developing and leading social media campaigns.
• 7+ years writing blog and feature stories for web and/or print.
• 5+ years managing social media and website platforms, producing multimedia content and analyzing metrics.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Knowledge of social media channels and their audiences.
• Familiarity with AP editorial style.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with key NORAM priorities.
• Identify new and creative approaches to digital and social media activities to boost NORAM visibility.
• Research, select and manage the execution of internal and external digital events (Town Hall, Twitter chats, YouTube/LinkedIn Lives).
• Act as the digital program manager for NORAM’s digital workplace (The Edge) with roadmap input.
• Own community management of social platforms and crisis communications guidance.
• Implement global brand guidelines on social media and support social content with graphics.
• Represent Thales on-site at industry events and amplify event messaging digitally.
• Evangelize social media with employees and run ambassador programs.
