Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Business Development Engineer, USSOCOM, to bridge RF capabilities with SOCOM requirements. You’ll work with engineering and business teams to demonstrate interoperability and field-readiness of StreamCaster radios across multi-domain environments.

Role involves travel to customer sites and labs, with a remote option depending on location. Requires a US SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2–5 years in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense tech.
• Security Clearance: Active US SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen for government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and formulate RF-based solutions.
• Plan network configurations and conduct live field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Business Development to align with strategic priorities.
• Support RFI/RFP responses and market research for partner integrations.
• Travel up to 50% to customer sites and labs; remote work may be feasible per location.
