Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer to support US Air Force programs. The role bridges RF capabilities with DoD customer requirements, involving travel and potential 100% remote work depending on location.

You will collaborate with engineering and business development teams to demonstrate interoperability of StreamCaster radios, guiding roadmap inputs and field tests across airborne, edge, and expeditionary environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles; OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Responsabilités

• Analyze US Air Force priorities (DAF Battle Network, ACE, ABMS) and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan networks, configure LIVE field trials, modernizations, and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering to verify architectures are sound.
• Support BD team with technical needs and align with strategic priorities.
• Build and present technical demos for airborne and edge networking needs.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and market research.
