Job summary

Integrated Solutions for Systems, Inc. (IS4S) is seeking a Computer Scientist / Software Developer in Auburn, AL (or Aberdeen, MD) to advance Command and Control systems for the US Armed Forces.

You will work on back-end algorithms, system integration, and cyber security practices while engaging with warfighters and SMEs. The position requires US citizenship, a strong software background (Go, C++), and willingness to travel for live-deployment activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or related technical field.
• Ability to comprehend complex systems and identify interconnections and functions.
• Experience with programming languages and software design to support development and integration.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements and testing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and architect user-facing functions and automations.
• Create algorithms in back-end processors using relational databases.
• Incorporate cyber best practices in software design and development.
• Monitor for CVEs and provide timely mitigations.
• Engage warfighters and SMEs to gather feedback and needs.
• Travel to support integration, demonstration, and user engagement.
