Job summary

Envisioneering, Inc. seeks a Program Manager to support Naval Research Laboratory projects, delivering program and technical oversight and serving as the primary liaison to the customer for task execution.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in engineering, DoD/USN systems engineering experience, and a proven ability to plan, manage complex programs, assess risks, and lead cross‑functional teams to meet schedule and cost requirements while ensuring compliance with government contracting rules.

Qualifications

• Five years of related Engineering experience.
• Experience in DoD/USN Systems Engineering and Acquisition practices.
• Ability to plan and manage complex projects.
• Experience presenting briefs to technical, programmatic, and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight/ management of the task.
• Serve as a technical lead in R&D efforts and direct development teams.
• Identify novel technical problems and generate research assignments.
• Advise on system performance requirements.
• Assess and ensure compliance with DoD/USN contracting requirements within cost and schedule.
• Identify areas for improved performance, capacity, reliability, or life cycle cost.
• Develop Project Management Plans for task execution and establish guidelines meeting contractual requirements.
• Assist in capturing monthly progress reports detailing work performed and schedule.
• Develop POA&Ms aligned with SOW requirements.
• Run weekly/biweekly meetings among stakeholders.
• Operate as primary liaison to the NRL customer for the task.
