Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC is seeking a Property / Logistics Coordinator in the Hampton Roads, VA area to manage DPAS records for 6,000+ assets, track asset life cycles, and coordinate secure NCR transport. The role supports compliance with DoD 5000.64 and DISA policies, including DRMO processing and asset turn‑ins.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of DoD property/logistics experience, strong documentation discipline, and the ability to work with sensitive equipment and audit

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in DoD property accountability, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Familiar with DPAS data entry, equipment lifecycle management, and Defense Logistics Manual requirements.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive equipment, manage inventory of 6,000+ items, and prepare for DRMO.
• Experience coordinating NCR transport, generating shipping manifests, and managing Form 7 documentation.
• Understanding of DoD turn‑in and disposal procedures, and audit readiness best practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate DPAS records for over 6,000 assets, including serial numbers, location, condition, and custodian assignments.
• Track assets through lifecycle—from receipt to disposition, including transfers and DRMO processing.
• Conduct regular physical inventories; reconcile discrepancies and support audit readiness.
• Coordinate secure movement of IT equipment between Hampton Roads and the NCR with cleared drivers.
• Prepare ETIDs, DD Form 1348-1A, and packing documents; track status to closeouts.
• Manage local storage and staging areas; ensure segregation of classified and unclassified equipment.
• Maintain chain‑of‑custody records; digitize documentation for inspections and FLIPL support.
