Job summary

NSWC is seeking a Midlevel Property Management Logistician to support property accountability across APSR, DPAS, and related systems at the JEB Little Creek – Fort Story, VA location. You will coordinate with Property Officers and the N4 branch to execute inventory plans, verify transactions, and implement policy compliance.

The role requires 3 years of logistics support experience with government systems and proficiency with APSR peripherals and tools like WebFLIS, DPAS modules, and DPAS WM/PA.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years’ experience providing logistics support to users of major government systems and/or logistics operations.
• Three (3) years’ experience on the deployment, use, and training with APSR peripheral equipment such as handheld terminals (HHTs), tethered scanners, signature pads, and specific label printers, or similar AIT equipment.
• Three (3) years’ experience with accountable property cataloging actions with expertise in features, functions, and capabilities within Web Federal Logistics Information System (WebFLIS), SOCOM Catalog Request Module (SOCM), Equipment Management Interface (EMI), and Federal Logistics Data (FED LOG)
• Two (2) years’ experience with executing requisitions and troubleshooting challenges within government Logistics IT systems.
• Two (2) years’ experience in executing and troubleshooting challenges in the DPAS ICP module for both Major Force Program 2 (MFP-2) and Major Force Program 11 (MFP-11) equipment, material, and supplies.
• Two (2) years’ experience with managing and implementing the unique requirements encompassing the accountability of Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S) to include such items as inventory for resale, spare and repair parts, and clothing and textiles.

Responsibilities

• Assist Accountable Property Officers in establishing and executing inventory plans across multiple cycles.
• Collaborate with N4 Property Branch to identify assets meeting accountability criteria.
• Define and document property management processes and audit requirements.
• Assist in implementing force-wide property policies and local procedures.
• Provide SOPs to improve NSWC policy compliance.
• Support data extractions and formatting for APSR, DPAS, and reports in Excel and Word; assist with Power BI.
• Conduct research on APSR data discrepancies including physical inventories and transfer documentation verification.
• Verify APSR transactions in DPAS-PA, DPAS-WM, DPAS-WMA, and DPAS-ICP for accuracy.
• Assist with transitioning commodities between APSR and NSWC IT systems (FleetFocus, COLTS, DPAS).
• Plan storage location layouts and item marking with barcode labels.
• Vet APSR stock cards, NICs, and size categories for NSWC-wide use.
• Assist in preparing DPAS SAAR packages and supporting historical archives.
