Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Project Manager to lead PORTS program initiatives in collaboration with Navy clients, delivering simulation-based training systems.

You will coordinate with the Program Manager, customers, and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and adherence to DoD requirements. Ideal candidates bring DoD experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong MS Office proficiency, with 5+ years in management including P&L and a readiness to travel up to

Qualifications

• Be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Familiar with software development projects.
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject).
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review status of projects and budgets; review project work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
