Five Rivers Analytics (FRA), an Akima company, is seeking a Business Analyst Support Specialist to provide research, data management, analytics, and reporting services to NSWC PCD offices. The role emphasizes collaboration with government personnel, program evaluation, financial data analysis, and documentation, using Office 365 tools and Navy systems like NERP, iNAVSEA, and EDW.

A US citizen with a bachelor’s degree and DoD experience preferred; strong communication and organizational skills

Competenze

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong Excel data-management skills.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and present findings in writing and in person.
• Excellent collaboration with Government personnel and cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to documentation.

Mansioni

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses; prepare reports for Government review.
• Perform life-cycle cost analyses and deliver formal written findings.
• Evaluate automation options to improve efficiency and document recommendations.
• Develop program or administrative reporting systems and data collection methods.
• Draft evaluation plans, procedures, and methodologies.
• Maintain control systems to prevent waste and unauthorized use of assets.
• Review audits and advise on corrective actions for Government approval.
• Generate reports from NERP and transfer data to Excel for data calls.
• Assist in drafting non-proprietary informational white papers.
• Research inquiries related to non-proprietary procedures and draft responses.
• Analyze financial statistics from MIS to produce periodic or ad hoc reports.
• Collect data from iNAVSEA, EDW, and NERP for project documentation.
