Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Network Operations Center Engineer to sustain and secure our 24/7 NOC. Based in Ogden, UT, you will support Windows and Linux environments, coordinate with cyber engineers, and drive system hardening and automation initiatives.

The role requires DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher within six months, DoD Secret clearance eligibility, and DoD-related certifications. A dynamic shift schedule includes weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s Degree; 0 years with Master’s; an additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Must obtain DoD 8140 Certification for IAT Level II within six months of starting.
• Must obtain technical certifications (e.g., Network+, CCNA, Server+, CySA+) within six months of starting.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure secure and reliable operation of a network from the Network Operations Center.
• Provide excellent support for remote users and field personnel.
• Maintain smooth operation of computer systems, coordinating with network, software, and cyber engineers.
• Manage Windows and Linux servers and endpoints; control access and permissions.
• Automate tasks with CLI/PowerShell to reduce repetitive workloads.
