Qualifications

• Four or more years of experience in system administration, network operations, or IT support.
• Certification as required by DoD 8140 for system administration (e.g. Security+, SSCP).
• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts including potential evening or weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage network operations ensuring system availability.
• Respond to system alerts, conducting triage and resolution.
• Coordinate with engineers to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Perform system maintenance on servers, switches, and routers.
• Execute backup and recovery procedures for business continuity.
