Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr Principal Cyber Architect for the Clearfield, UT area. This role supports the ICBM Sustainment Team and will involve on-call work for a 24/7 Network Operations Center.

Qualifications include DoD 8140 IAT Level II, advanced cybersecurity certs, and strong experience with SOC tools, SIEM, and vulnerability management. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

8 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's; 6 years with Master's; 4 years with PhD.
DoD 8140 Certification for IAT Level II within two months of starting.
Advanced cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, GSEC, CISSO).
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and SOC tool configuration.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cybersecurity posture and risk management across a distributed network.
Own and maintain network cybersecurity configurations and RMF artifacts.
Provide SME-level guidance on security practices and program standards.
Oversee patch management and vulnerability remediation.
Collaborate with SOC, Network Engineer, and ISSM to ensure compliant operations.
