Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Engineer to support the DMDC CyberPRIMES program. The role involves reviewing connectivity requests, firewall rules, and boundary registrations to ensure compliance with DoD and DISA requirements. U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required.

Responsibilities include coordinating with network teams, cybersecurity personnel, and government stakeholders, maintaining PPSM registrations, and contributing to policy documentation and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • BS and 4–8 years of prior relevant experience; Master’s with 2–6 years may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 4+ years of experience designing and planning network systems.
  • Experience in enterprise network engineering, architecture, or connectivity design.
  • Experience reviewing firewall, ports, protocols, services, and network-boundary requirements.
  • Ability to translate connectivity requirements into network design and implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Support external network-connectivity compliance and boundary registration/approval processes.
  • Review network implementations for compliance with DoD connectivity and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Review firewall requests and evaluate ports, protocols, services, and paths.
  • Prepare and track PPSM registrations for technical implementation.
  • Validate PPSM requests for completeness and accuracy.
