Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to build high-fidelity simulations of defense systems using MATLAB/Simulink and C++. You will analyze performance and work across teams to deliver cutting-edge capabilities for defense sponsors.

You will lead and collaborate on multidisciplinary projects, develop robust physics-based models, and ensure solutions meet security and program requirements while supporting mission needs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with relevant analytical/engineering experience.
• Proven ability to develop physics-based models and simulations.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and/or C++.

Responsabilidades

• Develop simulations of US weapons, threat missiles, and submersibles.
• Lead or contribute to technical teams to implement physics-based models.
• Build high-fidelity six-degree-of-freedom simulations and analyze performance.
• Collaborate across teams for complete system development and testing.
