Job summary

Fathom Robotics is seeking a Program Manager to own execution across field operations and engineering programs, serving as the primary contact for a diverse customer base. You will navigate the three sides of the defense unmanned systems market: primes, OEMs, and government program offices, balancing credibility with field operations.

You will manage schedule, budget, deliverables, and risk, reporting status to clients and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on program management experience.
• 5 or more years of program or project management experience within defense or government contracting.
• Familiar with DoW acquisition process and common contract types.
• Experience engaging directly with government program offices or contracting officers.
• Ability to travel ~30% and communicate across three client relationship types.

Responsibilities

• Own program execution across field operations and engineering efforts, including schedule, cost, and deliverable tracking.
• Manage relationships across prime contractors, OEMs, and government program offices.
• Adapt communication and reporting style to fit each client relationship.
• Track and deliver contract data requirements (CDRLs) on schedule.
• Coordinate field test events, demonstrations, and on-site engagement.
• Support contract administration, modifications, and period-of-performance tracking.
• Provide program input to proposals and capture activities, including cost estimates.
• Identify program risks early and drive mitigation plans across functions.
• Maintain relationships to support follow-on opportunities and expansion.
