Job summary

GM Defense is seeking a Program Manager, Defense Manufacturing, to lead cross‑functional programs from pre‑award capture through contract execution at our Global Technical Center and partner sites. You will integrate customer and partner requirements into executable plans and ensure cost, schedule, and performance commitments are met in a hybrid work environment with periodic travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 8+ years of program management experience.
• 10+ years in the defense industry (Govt or primes).
• U.S. Person and eligible for Secret clearance.
• Ability to travel 25-50% as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams through full program lifecycle.
• Support capture and pre-contract activities.
• Direct execution against contractual requirements.
• Translate customer requirements into work breakdown structures and schedules.
• Develop and manage program budgets and cost controls.
• Provide status reporting to leadership.
• Represent GM Defense in customer and partner engagements.
