Job summary

Jobot is seeking a paralegal with 3-5+ years of defense litigation experience to join our litigation-focused team in Tempe, AZ. You will conduct legal research, draft disclosures and pleadings, assist with trial preparation, and manage complex case files in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary of $75,000–$85,000 per year, 37.5-hour workweek, bonus programs, and comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, HSA contributions, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of defense litigation experience.
• ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries.
• Draft disclosures, written discovery, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, hearings, depositions, and other litigation matters.
• Review and organize case evidence and maintain case files and deadlines.
• Prepare and file court documents in compliance with rules and deadlines.
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel and other parties.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with ethical standards.
• Record billable and non-billable time with a target of ~6 hours per day.
