Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. The role focuses on process improvement, scheduling, and manufacturing readiness across the supply chain.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in production planning, time studies, and capacity analysis, with hands-on knowledge of shop floor interfaces to the broader supply chain. A DoD clearance is preferred and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing operations, or proposal estimating in aerospace/defense.
• Strong Excel modeling, presentation, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve processes, schedule, and manufacturing readiness across the supply chain.
• Track lab hardware deliveries with detailed schedules and metrics.
• Develop and maintain SQDEC boards with various metrics daily.
• Understand capacity, efficiencies, and constraints in manufacturing.
• Create and optimize shop floor/facility layouts and labor standards.
• Conduct shop floor time studies and report to leadership.
