Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. is seeking a Construction Oversight Project Manager in Virginia Beach, VA. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and involves overseeing complex construction and equipment emplacement projects across scope, schedule, cost, and risk.

You will drive cross-functional coordination, lead project teams, and ensure deliverables meet safety and compliance standards while providing relocation assistance to the selected candidate.

Qualifications

Oversee major construction projects with DoD programs.
Experience supporting federal construction agents (AFCEC, USACE, NAVFAC).

Responsibilities

Assist Government customers in monitoring construction progress, cost, and schedule
Monitor budgets and milestones through lifecycle
Review contractor cost, schedule and forecasting reports to support oversight
Lead cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with laws and policies
Coordinate with customers and external agencies on assigned projects
Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies
Support project budget tracking and contingency usage
