Job summary

TST TACTICAL DEFENSE SOLUTIONS, INC. in Virginia Beach is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial building construction projects across the Hampton Roads area. You will interface with customers, manage schedules and budgets, and coordinate subcontractors to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires leadership of a small team, strong cost control, and experience with submittals, RFIs, and change orders. This is an in-person, on-site position with potential travel.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field position or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of industry experience, preferably in general contracting.
• Experience with construction estimating, means and methods, and document administration.
• Knowledge of LEED is a plus, not required.
• Experience with scheduling software and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities with the Superintendent and project team.
• Own all project finances and budget control.
• Prepare the project construction schedule with input from subcontractors.
• Manage submittals, RFI/RFPs, and change orders.
• Oversight of project documents and records and cost monitoring.
• Lead a small team and coach staff per company policy.
• Maintain on-site safety procedures and quality control.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.
