Job summary

HII Mission Technologies in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Construction Oversight Project Manager to lead complex DoD construction and equipment emplacement projects across scope, schedule, cost, and risk. Qualifications

• 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years with Masters or 10 years with HS.
• Experience overseeing major construction projects.
• Experience supporting federal construction agents (AFCEC, USACE, NAVFAC, etc.) and DoD programs.
• Knowledge of federal construction contract administration, DoD execution, cost, schedule, and contractor performance.
• Ability to evaluate contractor reporting, identify risks, and communicate findings to leadership.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal, and executive briefing skills.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Government construction projects from planning through operations.
• Monitor milestones and budgets; report progress and recommend actions.
• Review contractor cost, schedule, and forecasting reports for oversight.
• Ensure scope, schedule, and cost commitments are met.
• Lead project teams; implement policies and regulatory guidance.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; support commissioning planning.
• Coordinate with customers, external agencies, and higher authorities.
