Qualifications

• 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience
• 4+ years of experience supporting complex technical projects and or programs within the Department of Defense (DOD)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project management software
• Strong organization and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong understanding of tools like MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
• Strong working knowledge of DOD project management standards, risk management practices and compliance requirements
• Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, linemanagers, and clientsli>
• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management andplanning, project team, and line management
• Assist in developing contract required products to include technical directions plans, rough order of magnitude pricing andmanagement of the risk register
