Job summary

ANSER is seeking a Budget & Finance Analyst to support the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Nuclear Deterrence, Chemical, and Biological Defense. The role offers a hybrid schedule with 3–4 days onsite at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA and 1–2 days remote.

You will assist with PPBE, budget exhibits, and resource management, providing analyses and policy assessments to guide funding decisions. A Secret clearance and 8+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field. Master’s degree may substitute for 3 years of experience.
• 8+ years of budget and financial analysis experience.
• Familiar with DoW budgetary principles and operational impact.
• Experience with DoW budgeting and appropriations documents.
• Experience briefing GO/FO/SES level personnel.
• Knowledge of DoW programming, budgeting, and FMR.

Responsibilities

• Support PPBE process and budget exhibit development.
• Assist in budgeting for RDT&E, Procurement, and O&M.
• Analyze financial and programmatic data for performance opportunities.
• Provide policy and budget assessments to the OASW(NDCBD).
• Support planning and execution of budgetary resources.
• Develop analytical products using WDP and DAI.
• Input resource information into WHS, CAPE, and Comptroller databases.
• Prepare Congressional budget briefing products and responses to inquiries.
