Job summary

Silvus Technologies seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capability with US Air Force requirements. You will work with Applications Engineering to demonstrate interoperability of StreamCaster radios across airborne, surface, and expeditionary environments.

Travel up to 50% for field tests and demonstrations, with a remote option depending on location. You will collaborate with BD and engineering teams to shape product roadmap inputs and support DoD programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in EE/CE/CS/Network Eng or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communication systems.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze US Air Force priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan, configure networks, and run field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate with engineering and BD teams to benchmark and validate architectures.
• Support technical demonstrations for airborne, edge, and expeditionary networks.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses with technical input and reviews.
• Conduct market research on integrations with industry partners.
• Engage with DoD stakeholders and translate needs into roadmap inputs.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and customer engagements.
