Job summary

CAE USA Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager II to support CAE USA Defense & Security Military Training and Simulation growth within assigned portfolios.

You will build customer relationships, analyze market conditions, and shape solutions aligned with customer priorities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop growth strategies and competitive positioning. The role involves opportunity qualification, customer engagement planning, budget awareness, and support for capture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, national security, international relations, or another applicable field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in business development, capture management, program management, military operations, government acquisition, or the defense industry.
• Ability to translate customer missions and requirements into actionable business strategies.
• Experience building relationships with government customers, military leaders, and industry partners.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes business development plans within an assigned customer, mission, market, or capability portfolio.
• Identifies, evaluates, and qualifies new business opportunities aligned with CAE's strategic growth objectives.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with government customers, military leaders, and industry partners.
• Develops customer engagement plans and opportunity assessments to position CAE for future opportunities.
• Monitors customer budgets, technology needs, and procurement timelines to shape proposals.
• Supports capture and proposal activities with customer insight and competitive intelligence.
