Pacificopower in Titusville, FL is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Business Development & Capture Specialist to support growth within a lean defense contracting team serving the DoD aircraft services, aviation, and ISR markets.

This entry‑level role covers the full BD lifecycle—from market research and opportunity tracking to proposal development and customer engagement—and offers paths to capture management and leadership as you develop skills.

Formación

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in business development, proposal development, technical writing, capture support, or related roles.
• Demonstrated ability to write, edit, or coordinate clear business or technical documents for RFIs, RFPs, or customer briefings.
• Strong writing, editing, research, and organizational skills with ability to gather input from subject-matter experts and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with defense, aviation, aerospace, or federal contracting environments, or relevant military experience.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and collaborate with leadership and operations teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; Excel and CRM or opportunity-tracking tools are helpful.
• Preferred: experience supporting DoD customers, aircraft services, or related programs.

Responsabilidades

• Research DoD and related opportunities in aircraft services, aviation, and ISR markets.
• Monitor government solicitations, industry notices, forecasts, and prime-contractor opportunities.
• Maintain the opportunity pipeline, customer and partner contacts, and related records.
• Summarize requirements, deadlines, customer needs, and potential fit for opportunities.
• Support capture planning, including customer research, competitor information, teaming research, and win themes.
• Draft, edit, and coordinate technical and business responses to RFIs, RFPs, and other solicitations.
• Gather information from operations, program management, and finance to translate into proposal content.
• Develop and maintain proposal outlines, compliance matrices, schedules, and review materials.
• Prepare customer briefings, capability presentations, meeting materials, and other BD documents.
• Help create and update capability statements, past-performance materials, and corporate content.
• Support outreach and relationship-building with government customers, primes, and industry partners.
• Assist with pricing and budget coordination by collecting inputs with leadership and finance.
• Track follow-up actions, meeting notes, deliverables, and key milestones.
• Support proposal handoffs and ensure approaches reflect operational capabilities.
• Take on other BD and growth-support tasks as needed.
