Magee Technologies (MTech) in the United States seeks a Project Manager to lead high‑stakes defense projects, ensuring on‑time, under‑budget delivery while meeting stringent requirements. You will drive scope, schedules, and risk management across engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers.

The ideal candidate has 5–9 years of project management experience in defense or related fields, with strong leadership and communication skills, plus experience with Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• 5-9 years of progressive experience in project management in defense or related environment.
• Experience developing and managing project schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and performance metrics.
• PMP certification is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
• Develop, maintain, and actively manage integrated project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and performance metrics.
• Monitor project execution against baselines, proactively identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
• Oversee vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, installation, quality, procurement, finance, data management, and other disciplines.
• Implement and monitor project performance metrics to identify improvements and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Lead the resolution of project issues and conflicts with stakeholders and airworthiness officials.
• Prioritize workload across engineering and manufacturing facilities to align with schedules and resources.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on strategy, adjustments, and progress.
• Close out project activities with financial reconciliation, data management, and lessons learned.
