Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace/defense or highly regulated environments.
• Experience with manufacturing planning, process development, and production execution.
• Experience developing manufacturing cost estimates and supporting quoting activities.
• Experience providing manufacturability input during product design and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace and defense products, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
• Collaborate with design engineering teams during product development to provide design recommendations.
• Evaluate product designs and propose manufacturing process improvements to reduce cost and improve quality.
• Develop manufacturing plans, process flows, work instructions, routers, tooling concepts, and production documentation.
• Support shop floor operations with hands-on technical guidance and corrective actions.
• Lead new product introduction and transition from development to production.
