Job summary

Truist is seeking a detail-oriented professional to process accounts secured by collateral in various default stages, supporting the bank's efforts to minimize losses. The role requires collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams to determine appropriate actions and ensure compliant workflows.

Responsibilities include using multiple systems, maintaining professional relationships, and meeting performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of banking, default, and/or client services experience.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and multi-task.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently process accounts in default to move toward resolution.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations, state laws, and bank policy.
• Use multiple systems/tools to monitor and determine appropriate outcomes.
• Maintain positive relationships with peers, clients, and external partners (attorneys, repo agents, etc.).
• Meet monthly performance metrics and department targets as defined by management.
• Support departmental controls for process adherence and risk indicators.
• Evaluate accounts and data to determine next steps.
