Job summary

Truist is seeking a detail-oriented associate to process accounts in default and collateralized to minimize losses, while following government regulations and bank policies. You will handle escalated calls, payments negotiations, and collaborate with vendors and internal partners throughout the workflow.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 1+ years in banking/default/client services, with strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED is required.
  • 1+ years of banking, default, and/or client services experience.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and multi-task.
  • Demonstrate basic proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products and familiar with internal job related systems.

Responsibilities

  • Independently process accounts secured by collateral that are in varying stages of default to work towards resolution.
  • Prepare, review and/or analyze department reporting.
  • Minimize risk by complying with Federal regulations, state laws, Bank policy and Unit procedures.
  • Identify, mitigate or communicate any issues or concerns to appropriate parties.
  • Leverage multiple systems/business tools to monitor determine/support appropriate outcomes/actions.
  • Maintain positive and professional working relationships between peers, manager, clients, internal partners, and vendors.
  • Meet/exceed monthly teammate performance metrics (productive/quality) and some department level metrics as defined by manager.
  • Support departmental controls for process adherence and KRI results.
  • Evaluate accounts, system info and reporting to determine appropriate next steps.

Process accounts that are in default and secured by collateral to minimize loss to Bank. Adhere to Government regulations, state laws and Bank requirements as it relates to real-estate foreclosures and auto/rv/marine repossessions. Support clients which may include escalated calls, payment negotiations, collaborate with vendors and internal business partners. Process required paperwork and use various tools and systems to help make decisions throughout the workflow.

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 1+ years of banking, default, and/or client services experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years Repossession, Foreclosure, or Default specific experience
  • 2+ years of banking, default, and/or client services experience
  • Higher level/secondary education, some college or Associates degree, etc.

The annual base salary for this position is $45,760 - $54,290.
