What We Do

The Default Claims Manager monitors and completes activities related to claim filing, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company guidelines. This role involves managing claims timelines and workflows, adhering to established work rules, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, operational excellence, and commitment to customer service.

What You'll Do

• Service mortgage accounts to ensure claims are processed in compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines, including interactions with attorneys, investors, insurers, and other parties involved.
• Monitor all loans in the claims queue to ensure milestones are met.
• Complete claim activities and filings efficiently.
• Audit claims, identify trends or risks, and ensure quality metrics are met.
• Recommend process improvements to management.
• Follow departmental policies and prioritize work to ensure timely resolution.
• Stay current with regulatory and legal changes impacting claims.
• Monitor vendor performance and review proceedings and records.
• Diligently follow up on outstanding requests from partners.
• Manage exception reports to minimize risks.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of Default Liquidation Claim experience.
• 3+ years of progressive management experience.
• Ability to lead projects and develop scalable processes.
• Experience with GSE and government claims.
• Knowledge of ICE technology, MSP, and LoanSphere Claims.
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and internet applications.
• High attention to detail and adherence to guidelines.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and provide excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills and leadership ability.

Salary Range: $75,375 - $100,475 annually

This range is an estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on experience, skills, and location.
