What We Do

The Default Claims Manager is responsible for monitoring and completing all activities related to claim filing in compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company guidelines. This role involves managing claims timelines and workflow processes to improve performance, establishing a culture of collaboration, accountability, operational excellence, and a commitment to customer service.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure mortgage accounts are serviced to comply with all applicable laws, investor, insurer, agency, and company guidelines, including monitoring claims in the queue to meet milestones.
  • Coordinate claim filing activities by interacting with attorneys, investors, insurers, and other involved parties.
  • Audit claims to identify trends or risks within the portfolio.
  • Maintain quality assurance metrics.
  • Recommend process improvements to management to minimize risks.
  • Adhere strictly to departmental and business policies.
  • Prioritize work to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.
  • Stay updated on regulatory and legal changes affecting claim processes.
  • Monitor vendor performance and review proceedings, records, and timeframes.
  • Follow up diligently on requests and communications from internal and external partners.
  • Manage exception reports as key controls for risk management.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of Default Liquidation Claim Experience
  • 3+ years of Progressive Management Experience
  • Proven ability to lead projects and develop scalable processes
  • Experience with GSE and Government Claims
  • Knowledge of ICE technology: MSP and LoanSphere Claims
  • Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook
  • High attention to detail and adherence to guidelines
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude
  • Independent work ethic with a focus on completion
  • Excellent communication skills, including coaching and leadership abilities

Salary Range: $75,375 - $100,475 annually

This range is an estimate based on various factors including experience, skills, and location.
