What We Do

The Default Claims Manager monitors and completes activities related to claim filing, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company guidelines. This role involves managing claims timelines and workflows, adhering to established goals to improve performance. The candidate will foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, operational excellence, and unwavering commitment to customer service and satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  1. Service mortgage accounts to ensure claims are processed in compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines, including interacting with attorneys, investors, insurers, and other involved parties.
  2. Monitor all loans in the claims queue to meet required milestones.
  3. Complete claim activities and file claims as needed.
  4. Audit claims to identify trends or risks.
  5. Ensure quality assurance metrics are met.
  6. Recommend process improvements to management.
  7. Follow departmental policies and procedures.
  8. Prioritize work to ensure timely resolution.
  9. Stay current with regulatory and legal changes affecting claims.
  10. Review vendor performance and monitor system activities.
  11. Follow up diligently on requests and communications from partners.
  12. Manage exception reports to minimize risk.

What You'll Bring

  1. 5+ years of Default Liquidation Claim Experience.
  2. 3+ years of Progressive Management Experience.
  3. Ability to lead projects and develop scalable processes.
  4. Experience with GSE and Government Claims.
  5. Knowledge of ICE technology: MSP and LoanSphere Claims.
  6. Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook.
  7. Extreme attention to detail and adherence to guidelines.
  8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude.
  9. Independent work capability and commitment to completing assignments.
  10. Excellent communication skills, including coaching and motivating staff.

Salary Range: $75,375 - $100,475 annually.

This range is an estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on experience, skills, location, and business needs.
