Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ, seeks a DeepStrike Director to lead all aspects of execution, capture, and growth for the Fires and Effects portfolio. You will drive multi‑domain programs across development, integration, and production with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires a top‑secret clearance, at least 14 years of relevant experience (or 12 with an advanced degree), and a proven ability to partner with customers, suppliers, and senior leaders to set strategy and deliver results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 14 years experience or 12 with advanced degree; university degree required.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across engineering, contracts, finance, supply chain.
• Familiar with Earned Value Management and financial analysis tools.
• Experience with various contract types and international programs.

Responsibilities

• Own profit and loss for Fires and Effects portfolio and manage performance.
• Drive execution across development, integration, production, and tech programs.
• Develop and achieve annual operating and long-range plan goals.
• Lead multidisciplinary reviews, briefings, and program planning with customers.
• Interface with customers including US Army, international partners, and legislators.
• Lead capture and follow-on development and future production efforts.
