Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Senior Manager for the Stinger Launcher Program Lead role in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on program execution, customer relationships, and financial performance on a high-visability defense program.

The candidate will drive cross-functional teams, manage delivery commitments, and lead the program through startup to closeout with accountability for cost, schedule, and performance. A security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or advanced degree and extensive relevant experience.
• Experience with development or production programs.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer interface for your programs, fostering a collaborative 'One Team' culture with the customer and ensuring exemplary standards of service and value proposition.
• Effectively utilize financial and execution controls (EVMS, Risk and Opportunity and RLPM) to drive execution excellence, process and consistency across programs.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging RLPM and CORE.
• Deliver projects on time and on schedule through leadership of cross matrixed teams.
• Maintain and manage key programmatic metrics, define milestones and critical path, monitor adherence to program budgets and schedules, and direct work to achieve these metrics.
• Support inputs into program Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long-term financial outlook and commit to specific financial goals and obligations.
• Perform regular program EACs, PMRs and business forecasting reviews.
• Interface with multiple internal and geographically dispersed team members, ensuring consistent and effective communication to drive tasks and issues to resolution.
