Job summary

C.A. Fortune is seeking a dedicated Deductions Specialist to help clients manage, reconcile, and clear deductions. This role requires a detail-oriented, organized professional who can work independently in a remote setup.

You will communicate with clients and internal sales, gather documentation, investigate deductions, and process credits. Prior CPG deductions experience and strong MS Office skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients and internal sales to resolve deduction inquiries.

• Work in web-based trade management systems for contracted customers.
• Provide timely, accurate, professional customer service.
• Handle calls and emails from internal and external partners.

Overview of the Role

• Some of our clients are seeking a dedicated Deductions Specialist to assist them with managing, reconciling, and clearing deductions. This CPG detective will be responsible for effectively researching, analyzing, documenting, and resolving a variety of deduction claim types in accordance with client specific standards and procedures. The ideal candidate would be well organized, detail oriented with excellent communication skills, and able to work independently.
• Location:Remote
• Salary range: $45,000 - $48,000 based on experience, qualifications and skills.

What You Should Bring to the Table

• Prior CPG deductions experienced (required)
• Must possess good computer skills as well as be a team player with a positive attitude
• Previous professional experience using Microsoft Office
• Organized and detail oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Must be able to solve problems with urgency
• Previouscustomer service experience is a plus
• Prior experience with a broker/manufacturer a plus
