Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare in the Northwest Valley is seeking Weekend Caregivers and CNAs to provide one-on-one, non-medical care in clients' homes. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, light housekeeping, meal prep, transfers, companionship, and medication reminders.

Applicants should have 6+ months caregiving experience, CPR/First Aid and TB testing, Article 9 certification, fingerprint clearance, background check, and valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle and insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience (family caregiving counts).
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test (assistance available).
• Article 9 certification.
• Fingerprint clearance card, background check, and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical care to clients in the home.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transfers.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Observe and report changes in clients' condition.
• Run errands and accompany clients to appointments.
• Medication reminders.
• Support residents with accessing community resources.
