Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage an assigned route, delivering and picking garments while building strong customer relationships. You will work independently on a day-shift schedule, with a focus on consistent service, safety, and sales opportunities.

The role involves driving, lifting, and engaging with customers daily. A valid license, DOT compliance, and strong customer service skills are essential for success at UniFirst.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• DOT physical exam compliance required by regulations.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service completed.
• Able to work independently while delivering excellent customer service.
• Prior route sales, delivery, or customer service experience is a plus.
• Comfortable learning new technologies to boost operations.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned route, delivering and picking garments and products daily.
• Support daily operations by loading/unloading route trucks.
• Ensure on-time, accurate deliveries and returns with strong customer satisfaction.
• Grow customer relationships, address service needs, upsell products.
• Identify upselling opportunities to drive route revenue.
• Operate a company walk-in truck on designated routes, prioritizing safety.
• Engage in an active role across indoor/outdoor environments.
• Troubleshoot service issues, manage inventory, ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain a predictable, Monday–Friday daytime schedule servicing the same route.
