Job summary

UniFirst Corp. is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage an assigned route, delivering and picking garments daily while building lasting customer relationships.

You’ll load/unload, ensure on-time service, and identify upsell opportunities to grow your route and earnings. This field-based role emphasizes safety, a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no nights or weekends, and the autonomy to thrive while representing UniFirst on the road.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• DOT medical requirements and compliance.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience in route sales, delivery, or customer service is a plus.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned route: primary contact for customers, daily deliveries and pickups.
• Support daily operations: load/unload route trucks and ensure accuracy at start of day.
• Deliver consistent, reliable service with on-time deliveries and returns.
• Grow customer relationships by addressing service needs and upselling where appropriate.
• Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to expand the route.
• Represent UniFirst on the road, prioritizing safety and professional service.
• Engage in a physically active role across indoor/outdoor environments.
• Maintain a predictable schedule: Monday–Friday day shift, same routes each week.
