Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
• Experience in adult neurological, cardiac, and/or general rehabilitation preferred.
• Current Physical Therapist Registration/State Licensure as required.
• Current CPR certification.

Aufgaben

• Aids in restoration and enhancement of independent function for patients.
• Evaluates and treats patients; communicates with families, physicians and interdisciplinary team; documents services.
• Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants/other PTs and/or Aides in direct patient care.
• Communicates with supervisor and interdisciplinary team regarding patient progress and treatment plans.
• Instructs families and nursing staff in targeted follow-through programs.
• Interviews patients and families regarding prior functioning and recovery expectations.
• Demonstrates knowledge of resources for problem-solving and clinical best practice.
