Job summary

Virtua Health in Burlington is seeking a part-time One to One Observer to provide continuous, one-to-one patient observation, maintain a safe environment, and support the care team throughout day shifts. You will communicate changes in patient status to the RN, assist with restraint care as needed, and uphold high professional ethics while delivering compassionate bedside care.

This role offers a steady schedule of 12-hour day shifts, with a total weekly hours of 24, and on-site work at

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient's status to RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
